Progress report on the preparation of the 40th Anniversary of the Convention

The Committee at its 34th session requested the World Heritage Centre to report on the progress made towards the organization of the 40th Anniversary celebrations.

The Committee also invited the Director-General of UNESCO to carry out a feasibility study of possible measures to recognize best practices in the implementation of the World Heritage Convention.
