[Uniquement en anglais] The Committee agreed with the proposal or the Bureau that in the case of properties which fully met the criteria for inclusion in the World Heritage List and which had suffered damage from disasters, the normal deadlines for the submission and processing of dossiers may be waived by the Bureau.

[Uniquement en anglais] Amendments to the criteria for the inclusion of cultural and natural properties in the World Heritage List and Guidelines for the evaluation of Nominations to the World Heritage List by ICOMOS and IUCN
[Uniquement en anglais] The Committee took note of the typology proposed in Mr. Michel Parent's report. It considered that it was on the basis of the inventories submitted by States Parties that such a typology could be finalized. The question will therefore continue to be studied until its next session.

8. Le Secrétaire, M. B. von Droste, Directeur de la Division des sciences écologiques, a fait rapport sur les activités entreprises depuis la 8ème session du Comité, tenue à Buenos-Aires du 29 octobre au 2 novembre 1984. Dressant tout d'abord un bilan général de la mise en œuvre de la Convention, il a annoncé que six nouveaux États, à savoir, par ordre chronologique, le Qatar, la Nouvelle Zélande, la Suède, la République dominicaine, la Hongrie et les Philippines, avaient accédé à la Convention depuis cette date, ce qui portait à 88 le nombre d'États parties à la Convention. Suivi de l’état de conservation des biens du patrimoine mondial : questions générales
38. Le Comité a remercié l'UICN de lui avoir présenté ces rapports détaillés et de l'avoir périodiquement informé de l'état de conservation des biens naturels. Il a aussi accueilli avec satisfaction la proposition faite par l'ICOMOS de lui présenter des rapports analogues, dans la mesure de ses moyens, dans le proche avenir.
39. Enfin, le Comité s'est félicité du document SC-85/CONF.008/INF.2 faisant état des mesures prises par la Yougoslavie pour mettre en œuvre la Convention concernant la protection du patrimoine mondial et a encouragé les autres États parties à établir des rapports ...
9. Conformément à la recommandation faite par le Comité du patrimoine mondial lors de sa seizième session, le Président du Comité, M. R. Milne, (États-Unis d'Amérique) a présenté à l'Assemblée générale le rapport que le Comité adresse à la Conférence générale de l'UNESCO. Le texte de la présentation de M. Milne, ainsi que le rapport du Comité à la Conférence générale, figure en annexe II du présent document. L'Assemblée générale a pris note de ce rapport.
9. Conformément à la recommandation faite par le Comité du patrimoine mondial lors de sa dix-septième session, le Président du Comité, M. Adul Wichiencharoen (Thaïlande) a présenté à l'Assemblée générale le rapport que le Comité adresse à la Conférence générale de l'UNESCO. Le texte de la présentation de M. Wichiencharoen figure en annexe I du présent document. L'Assemblée générale a pris note de ce rapport.
11. La Présidente, Mme Teresa Franco, a rappelé les dernières sessions du Comité du patrimoine mondial qui se sont tenues à Berlin (Allemagne - 19e session), puis à Mérida (Mexique - 20e session). Lors de ces sessions, le Comité du patrimoine mondial a décidé d’inclure 66 nouveaux sites sur la Liste, portant le nombre total à 506, dont 380 sites culturels, 108 sites naturels et 19 sites mixtes. 12.
