The IUCN World Conservation Congress
Cette page n'est pas intégralement disponible en français, vous pouvez la consulter en anglais.
More than 8,000 of the world’s leading decision makers in sustainable development: from governments, NGOs, business, the UN and academia. Together in one place for 10 days: to debate, share, network, learn, commit, vote and decide. The objective: ideas, action and solutions for a diverse and sustainable world.
Four Aliances workshops will have a focus on the World Heritage Convention during the Congress, as part of the Protected Areas Journey, coordinated in partnership with the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas. These events provide an opportunity to shape enhancements to the Convention in a workshop organized by IUCN and the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, and to contribute to discussions focused on the role of World Heritage in supporting management effectiveness, tourism and biodiversity conservation within protected areas. Side meetings will focus on World Heritage marine sites and cultural landscapes.
