The side event aims to raise awareness about the recently published two guidance tools: Guidance and Toolkit for Impact Assessments in a World Heritage Context and Guidance for Wind Energy projects in a World Heritage Context, which were designed to provide assistance to States Parties in assessing potential impacts, improve decision-making and promote good development in the context of World Heritage management. The interactive event will engage with participants to promote the use of the tools, to exchange relevant experience, and to build capacity for better decision-making on conservation, climate action and sustainable development.
