Information Session for States Parties in Paris
The UNESCO World Heritage Centre invited representatives of StatesParties to the World Heritage Convention to participate in an information and exchange meeting on the 39th session, which will take place from 28 June to 8 July in Bonn, Germany.
After a welcome note by the Chairperson of the World Heritage Committee, Prof. Maria Böhmer, the German Commission for UNESCO informed the participants about the excursion programme, side events and exhibitions as well as general logistics of the 39th session of the World Heritage Committee and answered questions of the participants.
At the meeting, the UNESCO World Heritage Centre also presented the agenda, timetable and working documents of the Committee session. Furthermore, the Chairperson of the World Heritage Committee, Prof. Maria Böhmer, gave an update on the ad-hoc Working Group on working methods of the evaluation and decision-making process of nominations.
