Conservation issues presented to the World Heritage Committee in 1994

The site was inscribed on the List of World Heritage in Danger in 1992. Missions to the site were carried out in 1992 and 1993. Given the fact that the situation remains critical due to armed conflict and that the political situation in the region has not changed, the Centre suggests another fact-finding mission to this area, particularly to the Korkaova Uvala Virgin forest.

Analysis and Conclusion by World Heritage Centre and the Advisory Bodies in 1994

It is recommended that the site be retained on the List of World Heritage in Danger and to carry out another mission at an appropriate time.
