Sierra De Las Minas Biosphere Reservation

This Reservation of Biosphere is in one of the most spectacular mountainous chains in Central America. The geographical isolation and the great variety of elevations form a great diversity of flora and fauna habitat that are equivalent to islands of genetic evolution, with high endemism. The biggest quantity in existent primary forest in the Reservation is composed by Cloudy Forest, located in the Sierra higher parts that it includes five areas of life.
