Patrimonito’s World Heritage Adventures: new episode available
The 15th episode of the Patrimonito cartoon series on the theme of World Heritage and Climate Change is now available.
This episode of the Patrimonito cartoon series is based on the winning storyboard of the Partimonito Storyboard Competition in 2022. It was selected by a jury among 710 submissions from 47 State Parties from around the world.
In this adventure, Patrimonito explores World Heritage sites in Türkiye, like Nemrut Dağ, Ephesus, Göreme National Park and the Rock Sites of Cappadocia, accompanied by two children, Elif and Ali. They discover that the sites are vulnerable to the effects of climate change, and that they could be threatened in the future if no action is taken. Therefore, they decide to bring this issue to the attention of others and inspire young people worldwide to come up with solutions that can help reduce global warming and preserve our shared cultural and natural World Heritage.
