RSSSixth International Encounter on Management of Historic Centres
The theme of this meeting, which will take place in Spanish only, is "Innovation and Diversity". The event coincides with celebrations of the 25th anniversary of Old Havana's inscription as a World Heritage site. The panel of experts, headed by Herman van Hooff, Director of the UNESCO Havana office and Margarita Ruiz, President of the National Council for Cultural Heritage in Cuba, will discuss the legacy of the World Heritage Convention in Cuba and the main goals achieved since Old Havana's listing as a World Heritage site.
