Palestinian Traditional Dress Day July 25 - 50th anniversary year of World Heritage

The goal of the activity is to include the World Heritage site in many of local community activities, and to establish seasonal activities that draw visitors on a regular basis.

Active heritage marches across the streets of different cities in homeland Palestine and in all parts of the world, decorated with traditional Palestinian dress for all segments of society, drawing a Palestinian painting infused with Palestinian embroidery in all colors of joy and love, to commemorate this National Day in which people express their true belonging to Palestinian heritage and the protection of cultural heritage as an essential part of the tangible heritage. Palestinians in their neighborhood, whether emigrants or refugees, wear a uniform to commemorate the day. The marches serve as a movable national museum of Palestinian costume, telling the story of the Palestinian style of dress that our fathers and grandfathers passed down to us. In light of the recent international COVID limitations, this activity offers an additional entertainment product for the local community and surrounding towns.
