Decision Text
The World Heritage Committee,
1. Noting with concern the information provided on the vandalism caused to
some of the rock carvings at Alta,
2. Requests the State Party to review the level of protection of the property and to
take the appropriate measures to prevent further damages to the carvings;
3. Acknowledges the State Party's report of 10 June 2004 and takes note of the
measures taken to protect the property from further damage and progress made
to enhance legal protection of the property.
