Decision Text

The World Heritage Committee,
1. Acknowledging the outcomes of the joint UNESCO-ICOMOS reactive
monitoring mission to the property,
2. Takes note with concern of the conservation problems affecting the property
and encourages the State Party to respond to them taking into account the
recommendations made by the mission;
3. Urges the State Party not to carry out any reconstruction work which may
adversely affect the outstanding universal value and its authenticity and
strongly urges the State Party not to commence any constructions before
consideration of the project by the Committee;
4. Requests the State Party to provide to the World Heritage Centre an updated
report by 1 February 2005 so that the World Heritage Committee may examine
the state of conservation of the property at its 29th session in 2005.
