Symposium on the World Natural Heritage of Japan

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention, the Ministry of the Environment and the Forestry Agency in Japan organize a symposium on the World Natural Heritage of Japan.
The objective of this event is to discuss the achievements and issues regarding sustainable use of natural resources, protection and management, and the role of local communities in World Natural Heritage sites of Japan. It will gather experts on natural heritage and natural conservation.
