In response to the concerns expressed by the Committee at its seventeenth session regarding a bridge construction project just outside the walls of the town, the Permanent Delegation of Spain informed the World Heritage Centre on 28 April 1994 that the project has been withdrawn. No further information on this project has been provided so far.
