Világörökség ifjú kezekben, the Hungarian version of the World Heritage in Young Hands educational resource kit for teachers, has just been published in the framework of the UNESCO Young People's World Heritage Education Project, coordinated by the World Heritage Centre and UNESCO Associated Schools.

The Kit introduces the concept of World Heritage education and conservation. It was specially designed for use by secondary school teachers and proposes classroom and extra-curricular activities for students in the form of a journey through the world's magnificent cultural and natural heritage. A total of 2000 copies of the Hungarian Kit will go to ASPnet schools and educational institutions in the country.

The translation and adaptation of the Kit into Hungarian was made possible with the collaboration of the Hungarian National Commission for UNESCO and with the support of the World Heritage Fund. With the publication of the Hungarian version, there are now 28 national language versions of the World Heritage in Young Hands Kit.
