Towards strengthened governance of the shared transboundary natural and cultural heritage of the Lake Ohrid Region: Local Facilitator, Albania

IUCN Programme Office for South-Eastern Europe (SEE) is seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic candidate to join the IUCN SEE team working on the project “Towards strengthened governance of the shared transboundary natural and cultural heritage of the Lake Ohrid Region”, financed by the European Union and managed by UNESCO. This Upstream pilot project is designed to address the main threats affecting the natural and cultural heritage of the Lake Ohrid region shared between Albania and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project activities tasked to the World Heritage Committee Advisory Bodies (IUCN, ICOMOS and ICCROM), working primarily in the Lake Ohrid region but might also be required to operate in Tirana, Albania.
