The Monuments Board of the Slovak Republic and Slovak National Commission for UNESCO are organizing the International Training Workshop on the preparation of Section II of the Periodic Report for Central and South Eastern Europe.
The Section II of the Periodic Report on the state of conservation of specific World Heritage properties will be examined by the World Heritage Committee at its 30th session in 2006. The States Parties invited include Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Former Yugoslavia of Macedonia, Hungary, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. The main aim of this training workshop is not only to facilitate the work of those who are involved in the preparation of the Section II of the Periodic Reports but also to identify specific needs and future directions for World Heritage activities in the sub-region.
