The World Heritage Committee,
- Having examined Document WHC-07/31.COM/16.Add,
- Decides to allocate a budget of USD 8,000 from the World Heritage Fund for the organization of an orientation session for new Committee members to be held the day prior to the 32nd session in 2008;
- Requests the Director of the World Heritage Centre to organize the orientation session in cooperation with the Chairperson of the World Heritage Committee, the Advisory Bodies, and ICCROM in particular;
- Recognizing the benefits of promoting collegiality among new Committee members and those members currently serving on the Committee, encourages interested current Committee members to participate in the orientation session.
