The Committee urged the Australian authorities to expedite the implementation of the management agreement between the State of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia and to accelerate efforts towards more effective management of the area for conservation purposes. The Committee requested IUCN to submit a report on the implementation of these recommendations in 1993.
