A World Heritage Education Kit and ASPnet Workshop was organized by the Syrian National Commission.

Topics of the workshop included an overview of UNESCO's goals and programs; ASPnet's background, objectives, and schools; the World Heritage Convention on the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage; and WHE Kit teacher training.
