First National Teacher-training Workshop on WHE

A national teacher-training Workshop was jointly organized by the Palestinian National Commission for Education, Culture and Science and the Palestinian Ministry of Education with the support of UNESCO Amman Office and the Ron Polnick Foundation. About 30 teachers participated in this Workshop. The participants were introduced to the different themes of the Kit. They concluded the workshop by visiting Jericho and Jerusalem and adopted the following

Workshop recommendations

• To organize more national, regional and international training for the ASPnet co-ordinators
• Financial support from UNESCO to ASPnet schools so as to better implement their program.
• To form a national team to be responsible for preparing a national kit entitled, "Palestinian Heritage in Young Hands" and seeking funding for it.
• To organise an International Conference on "The Palestinian Heritage and Methods of its Protection" and seek funding for it.
