World Heritage Leadership Forum 2022: Future of Capacity Building for our shared World Heritage. 50th anniversary initiative of the World Heritage Convention

A high-level World Heritage Leadership Forum will be convened to take stock of the results produced by the World Heritage Leadership Programme in its first six-years (2016-2022), and how these results can be more widely applied and utilized to different realities and contexts, to strengthen the capacity of heritage professionals of the next generation, who will work beyond the 50th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention.

The Forum will promote the results achieved thus far and strengthen capacity building through the launching of an ambitious new phase of the World Heritage Leadership Programme, and celebrate and build on the achievements of the Programme to date.
