Description

Shihr, petite côtière (à 54 km est de Mukalla) comme dans l'Antiquité. De la ville, les deux portes ont été restaurée, il reste peu de choses de la vieille ville de cette architecture, mélange de techniques yéménites, arabe et hindoue. La ville est répertoriée "site touristique" sans doute grâce au superbe village de Bada qui abrite des bains de sources chaudes. Plus loin, le village-port, al-Hami fait aussi le bonheur des curistes. (Sur la même côte, côté omanais, des milliers de tortues viennent également faire leurs nids)
