Reflection meeting on the implementation of the Recommendation on the Historic Urban Landscape two years after its adoption (HUL+2)

On 13 December 2013, the "Reflection meeting on the implementation of the Recommendation  on the Historic Urban Landscape two years after its adoption (HUL+2)" took place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. 
Two years after the adoption of the Recommendation and two years before the submission of a report to the UNESCO General Conference (October 2015), the World Heritage Centre decided to hold a reflection meeting on the progress of implementation of this normative instrument. The meeting brought together urban conservation experts and practitioners from around the world, many of whom contributed to the work that led to the drafting of the Recommendation. The aim of this meeting was to receive feedback on the Recommendation two years after its implementation, and to draw conclusions in order to prepare a possible action plan with a view to improving its  implementation.
