Decision-making procedures of the statutory organs of the Convention

At its 35th session (UNESCO, 2011), the World Heritage Committee examined the summary of the discussions and the recommendations of the expert meeting on the decision-making procedures of the staturory organs of the World Heritage Convention (15-17 December 2010, Manama, Bahrain). The World heritage Committee subsequently adopted Decision 35 COM 12B, requesting a number of activities to be implemented to improve the conduct of statutory meetings, the capacity building related activities, the transparency of documents and statutory meetings, as well as to provide clarification on some World Heritage processes.

This document presents the progress made in the implementation of this decision. Annex I also provides an overview of the reform measures already adopted by the World Heritage Committee.
