The World Heritage Committee,
- Having examined Document WHC/25/47.COM/7B,
- Takes note of the provisional inscription of the property on the International List of Cultural Property under Enhanced Protection, under the mechanism established by the 1999 Second Protocol to the 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict (Decision 4 EXT.COM 4.4);
- Takes further note of the information provided by the State Party, and the reassurance that the property was not impacted by the hostilities in 2024;
- Acknowledges the efforts and commitment of the State Party to the conservation of the property as well as to the adequate management of its wider setting, and encourages the State Party to pursue these efforts with local and international partners, and to provide updates to the World Heritage Centre as necessary;
- Recalls the obligation to submit to the World Heritage Centre, for review by the Advisory Bodies, information on planned or ongoing projects, including for any major restoration or development interventions, that may impact on the Outstanding Universal Value of the property, prior to making any decisions that could irreversibly affect the property;
- Finally requests the State Party to submit to the World Heritage Centre, by 1 December 2026, an updated report on the state of conservation of the property.
