Statements of Outstanding Universal Value of Six Properties Inscribed at the 40th Session (Istanbul/UNESCO, 2016) and not Adopted by the World Heritage Committee

The World Heritage Committee,

Having examined Document WHC/17/41.COM/8B.Add,
Adopts the Statements of Outstanding Universal Value for the following World Heritage properties inscribed at the 40th session of the World Heritage Committee (Istanbul/UNESCO, 2016):

Argentina, Belgium, France, Germany, India, Japan, Switzerland, The Architectural Work of Le Corbusier, an Outstanding Contribution to the Modern Movement;
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Stećci Medieval Tombstone Graveyards;
Iran (Islamic Republic of), Lut Desert;
Iran (Islamic Republic of), The Persian Qanat;
Sudan, Sanganeb Marine National Park and Dungonab Bay – Mukkawar Island Marine National Park;
Turkey, Archaeological Site of Ani.
