The World Heritage Committee,
- Having examined Documents WHC/17/41.COM/8B.Add, WHC/17/41.COM/INF.8B1.Add and WHC/17/41.COM/INF.8B2.Add,
- Taking note that the proposal is appropriate in relation to natural criteria, and enhances the overall integrity, protection and management of the property,
- Approves the proposed minor modification to the boundaries of Mount Wuyi, China;
- Requests the State Party with the support of ICOMOS and the World Heritage Centre to:
- Undertake further study to address the concerns in relation to cultural values of the property,
- Provide in detail the rationale for the delineation of the buffer zone and a topographical map in relation to the surrounding villages and the Wuyi Mountain National Reserve (Jiangxi Province) by 1 February 2018.
