A.2 TRAINING

A.2.4 Regional Training Workshop in Tbilisi and Signagi on "The Significance of Vernacular Architecture and the Problem of Conservation (Georgia) (US$ 27,000 requested)

The Bureau recognized the importance of Georgian vernacular architecture and the need to improve scientific, technological and management competences of the persons responsible for the conservation and presentation of the remarkable heritage.

The Bureau approved an amount of US$ 27,000 for this regional training activity organized for trainees from the neighbouring countries, viz. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran, Russia and the Ukraine, as well as Georgia.
