The Committee commended the Australian authorities for concluding a 10-year programme to extend this Park and for the exemplary management operation at the Park. The Committee inscribed the full extent of the Park as re-nominated by the Australian authorities on the World Heritage List. On the basis of the ICOMOS evaluation, the Committee decided to inscribe Kakadu under cultural heritage criteria (i) and (vi) instead of (i), (iii) and (vi) as in the past.
