Conservation issues presented to the World Heritage Committee in 2013

In response to the decisions made by the 35th session of the World Heritage Committee (35 COM 7B.69) the State Party provided a report outlining the implementation of the action plans and recovery efforts following the eruption of Mount Merapi in 2010. In the framework of the Safeguarding of Prambanan Temple Compounds, extensive restoration and conservation efforts have been carried out, supported by a number of capacity building and training activities, including technical studies and monitoring efforts.

The World Heritage Centre and the Advisory Bodies are of the view that no further reporting to the World Heritage Committee is currently required on these issues.
