Wadden Sea World Heritage greetings during COVID-19
World Heritage sites are also affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, among them the Wadden Sea. The UNESCO World Heritage Centre has asked us to send a small video greeting and share how we manage during the pandemic. We were more than happy to do so and got representatives from the three Wadden Sea countries AND from three generations to tell the tale.

The unprecedented drop in tourism revenues left UNESCO marine World Heritage sites struggling to keep rangers on the payroll, prevent rising illegal activity or continue crucial scientific monitoring.
