A new report by UNESCO, the Church of England Pensions Board, Greenbank, IUCN, and WWF offers the most comprehensive analysis to date of the presence and proximity of areas licensed for oil, gas, and mineral exploration and production in and around UNESCO World Heritage sites.
This event will present the report’s findings and explore how such analyses can help investors, policymakers, and companies identify and manage risks associated with extractive industries, while also aligning investment decisions with global commitments to heritage protection.
Event date and time: Friday 11 July 2025, from 13:15 to 14:45 local time (CEST)
