RØROS, Norway
The third European World Heritage Restoration Camp for Youth was held 6-17 August 2001 in Røros, a mining town in Norway, that is a World Heritage Site since 1981. For the third time, participants learned how to take concrete action to restore and preserve WH sites through hands-on work and workshops. The students also went on excursions and they celebrated a cultural evening. The evening was organized as a sort of peace seminar where students introduced their cultures to each other.
