In 2003, the Committee requested the State Party to provide a report on the progress made in the adoption of the new law on monumental heritage. At the time of the preparation of this report, however, the Secretariat had not received such report from the State Party.

The World Heritage Committee, 1. Regrets that the State Party did not provide the requested report on the progress made in the adoption of the new law on monumental heritage (Decision 27 COM 7B.90); 2. Reiterates its request to the State Party to provide the above-mentioned report by 1 February 2005 for consideration of the Committee at its 29th session in 2005.
