Archaeological Area and the Patriarchal Basilica of Aquileia (Italy)

The World Heritage Committee,

  1. Having examined Documents WHC/17/41.COM/8B.Add and WHC/17/41.COM/INF.8B1.Add,
  2. Approves the proposed minor modification to the boundaries of Archaeological Area and the Patriarchal Basilica of Aquileia, Italy;
  3. Recommends that the State Party give consideration to the following:
    1. Finalising the draft management plan of the property and submitting it to ICOMOS and the World Heritage Centre once it is adopted,
    2. Considering the creation of a buffer zone.
