A.2.1 Regional Training Course on Critical Wetlands Habitats: Keoladeo National Park (India) (US$ 30,000 requested)
The Bureau approved an amount of US$ 30,000 to organize at the beginning of 1997 this regional training workshop for site managers from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and other countries in support of the Natural Heritage Training Strategy.
The Bureau requested the Secretariat to contact the Wildlife Institute and the Government of India to ensure that there is no overlap with any other subregional training seminars for protected area managers foreseen for 1997 to be hosted by India.
