This document contains:

Part I: Presentation of the financial statements of the World Heritage Fund for the biennium 2010-2011 as established by the UNESCO Bureau of Financial Management, and the consolidated table of allotments and expenditures for activities financed by the three funding sources.

Part II: Review of the approved budget for 2012-2013 in the light of the current financial context. The interim financial report for the period from 01 January 2012 to 31 March 2012 is provided in Annex IV.

Part III: Analysis "on ways to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the implementation of the World Heritage Convention" with proposals to improve the sustainability of the World Heritage Fund as requested in Decision 35 COM 15B paragraph 24.
