Launching Ceremony for the 40th Anniversary of the World Heritage Convention in Japan
This event will launch the 40th Anniversary celebrations in Japan. UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova will be in attendance, along with high-level representatives of the Japanese government and international World Heritage experts.
A commemorative symposium on Disaster and Heritage will be part of the activities.
