Description
Dahsour was a part of the Memphite necropolis started to use in the time of King Snfru first King of fourth dynasty. He constructed two Pyramids; one called the "bent pyramid" because its angle reducing, and the other called the red pyramid, and the site was neglected after that time until the Middle Kingdom age when three kings from 12th dynasty reused the site the site again to construct their pyramids, they are Amenenhat II, Amenamhet III and senwosret III. There are some tombs and mastabas around the pyramids for queens, members of royal family officials and priests.
