DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention, the World Heritage Centre in cooperation with the Mediterranean Agrnomy Institute of Montpellier is organizing a week-long meeting on the cultural landscape of agro-pastoralism from the 1st to the 5th of October 2012. To launch the week, the Event will start with an Operating Experience day on the inscription of the The Causses and the Cévennes.
This meeting addresses countries from the Mediterranean Basin, States parties, local actors, ICOMOS, ICROM, IUCN experts and elected officials.
