Reflection on the trends of the state of conservation

Title
Reflection on the trends of the state of conservation
Description

At its 34th session (Brasilia, 2010), the World Heritage Committee welcomed (Decision 34 COM 7C ) the analytical summary of the trends, changes and threats to the state of conservation of World Heritage properties over a five-year period (2005-2009). It considered this study as the basis for further reflection and more extensive analysis of this information. It added that this work highlighted the need
for more systematic monitoring of threats and for ways to identify and react to emerging trends. This Document provides some elements of response to the Committee's concern in this regard.
