Description

This is a historical landscape with continuous settlements from the Bronze Age until present time. The Orkesta and Markim cultural historic landscape near Stockholm includes remains such as mounds, cemeteries, settlement remains, a medieval church, terraces from farming activities during the Iron Age and so on. All the remains can be seen in the landscape. The area is vast.

The protection of it has, therefore, not yet been solved.
