Description

The site is located on a terrace on the eastern bank of an inlet (khor) which deeply penetrates inland. Nowadays, a sandbar closes the entrance to the sea, but it was probably accessible at high tide in antiquity, providing an excellent harbor. The natural landscape in itself is beautiful and adds to the interest of the site.
