Description

McCormick Farm and Workshop, Virginia. Of the inventions that revolutionized agriculture during the first

half of the 19th century, the mechanical reaper (1834), was probably the most important. The well-preserved farmhouse and workshop of Cyrus McCormick, its inventor, are included within this property.
