The Representative of Romania informed the Bureau that a new research institution for the Danube Delta has been established and will undertake studies relevant to the conservation of the Danube Delta.
The World Heritage Centre is still awaiting confirmation of proposed new legislation. IUCN will report in detail about new developments.
