Conservation issues presented to the World Heritage Committee in 1989

The Committee noted that following an earthquake at Tipasa in Algeria, a preliminary mission by a member of the Secretariat had been completed which reported that some damage had occurred.

An emergency assistance request had been submitted to the Secretariat which is continuing to cooperate with the managers of the property
