         <title>World Heritage sites participate in Earth Hour</title>
         <description><![CDATA[UNESCO will partner with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for Earth Hour,&amp;nbsp;one of the world&apos;s largest and most well-known environmental campaigns in the world. UNESCO has invited World Heritage sites to participate in this initiative by switching off the lights on the night of Earth Hour: Saturday, 31 March 2012, from 8:30 to 9:30pm local time.&amp;nbsp;The lights will also be switched off at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France.

         <title>Australian Government reinforces its Funds-in-Trust for conservation of Angkor and other heritage properties</title>
         <description><![CDATA[The Australian Funds-in-Trust, established in August 2008 between the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Australian Government, has been increased.&amp;nbsp;A sum of $AUS830,000&amp;nbsp;has been added to the Australian Government&apos;s first generous contribution of $AUS2.5 million.          <title>Angkor Among the three Properties Removed from Unesco&apos;s List of World Heritage in Danger</title>
         <description><![CDATA[Cambodia&amp;rsquo;s celebrated temples and palaces at Angkor were removed from UNESCO&apos;s List of World Heritage in Danger today, as were the Bahla Fort (Oman) and Rwenzori Mountains National Park (Uganda).
