August 2015 14th at 23h59min (Brasilia time) is the deadline of the 1st Public Call for Submissions of research projects from the Lucio Costa Centre, for the purpose of selecting previously unpublished and individual projects, in Portuguese or Spanish, about “conservation and management of Cultural and Natural Heritagein the Portuguese and Spanish-speaking countries of South America, and Portuguese-speaking countries of Africa and Asia”.
The National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (IPHAN), through the Regional Centre of Formation in Management of the Cultural and Natural Heritage - Center Lucio Costa - CLC, Category II Centre under the auspices of the UNESCO, based in Rio de Janeiro, announces the Public Call for the selection of 10 unpublished and individual research projects, in Portuguese or Spanish, on the topic “conservation and management of cultural and natural heritage“ for an amount of RS$ 24.000,00 (twenty four thousand reals)
The research projects selected will be those focused on conservation and management of cultural heritage which analyse the actions and policies engaged by the public or private sectors from each country, according with the cultural and historical perspectives of Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries from South America, Africa and Asia.
The priority study
- Management practices of World Heritage
- Comparative overview of Public Policy and participatory management of World Heritage between 2 or more countries of the Region.
Eligible participants shall be natural persons holding the nationality and/or citizenship in one of the following countries of South America (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela), Africa (Angola, Cabo Verde, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique and Sao Tome and Principe) and Asia (East-Timor).
